Online - see details for registration Thursday, April 21 2022, 12pm 2022 Torrance Festival of Ideas (Apr 19-21) The annual Torrance Festival of Ideas is a free online educational and cultural event where renowned experts from across disciplines present their innovative ideas to the general public. UGA community member Life LaRoche will be leading a session on youth development in mixed reality and UPenn Africana Studies Postdoc Jasmine Blanks Jones will speak on Liberian youth activism through virtual theatre programs. This year's festival (Apr 19-21, 2022) showcases unique perspectives on a range of topics including creativity, entrepreneurship, innovation, aesthetics, flow, imagination, emotions, motivation, AI, digital art, music, literature, wellbeing, community health, mental health, sociocultural engagement, childhood, aging, equality, identity, political resistance, and social change.
