The Institute for African American Studies has much to celebrate this fall semester! To begin, we welcome three new joint-appointed faculty to our ranks: Dr.
Danielle Obiri graduated this past Spring 2022 with degrees in African American Studies (AB) and Genetics (BS). Immediately following graduation, Danielle began medical school at the Medical College of Georgia pursuing a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
