There will be an opportunity to recieve a copy of Heavy and Temple folks from the Institute for African American Studies library in Holmes Hunter a week before the event on January 23rd and to discuss Temple Folks

Enjoy a Q and A about the works of authors Aaliyah Bilal and Kiese Laymon. They will be reading from their respective Temple Folks and Heavy. It is an opportunity to discuss African American memoir and religious tradition.
