Special Information:
This event will be catered.

Georgia State University students will visit with the Institute for African American Studies to discuss STEM studies, graduate programs, general academics, and student life at the University of Georgia. These students are incoming graduate scholars looking to familiarize themselves with UGA and to make ready connections when they attend campus in the next Fall semester.

Please join us to give more nuance and insight to the conversation with these wonderful scholars who will assist in enriching the already vibrant life of the UGA campus and community. We welcome you to partake in conversation, lunch, and community building as the Bulldawgs give a warm welcome to the Panthers.

Support African American Studies at UGA

The Institute defines support in diverse ways to give you as many options as possible to assist in our mission. We consider “friend-raising" as important as fund-raising. Your financial contributions and support help us to develop and strengthen our programs and offerings, both on campus and in the community.

Your gift makes a big difference. Learn more about how you can donate today.

Study within African American cultural history provides a basis for understanding political, social, and economic relations throughout human history.
